Global Transport Training Services USA. Ltd offers an in-depth initial training course designed to meet the general requirements, in full.

Those personnel who have already received initial training should attend a revalidation (refresher) training course within 36 months of the last certification. This is an abbreviated course, depending on retained knowledge and whether the regulations have been used on a regular basis.

See the Class Schedule for details of where the courses are being conducted. In-house training can also be arranged, although certain criteria must be met.

The course provides all information required for a candidate to comprehend and meet certification needs:

• General requirements for shippers and carriers
• General and numerical indexes
• Classification of dangerous goods - Proper shipping names etc.
• UN specification packaging, marking and labeling & documentation
• Marine pollutants, limited quantities, n.o.s proper shipping names, mixtures and solutions
• Segregation of incompatible material
• Bulk packages including Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC’s)
• Understand procedures for the marking, labeling, and documentation of dangerous goods
